Visit the blog

Its time to try my hand at advertising, don't expect to see this in a billboard or something, this is just me dreaming and realizing. Anyway, firstly green, black and white are the official corporate colours for Hansel Creative, and secondly, before am able to sell corporate branding to someone, i have to have my own strong brand... so i have started with text adverts, follow the blog and see more

Garden Grave Sky

This is one of those things you enjoy doing, The garden, the grave, the sky is a musical piece to be done on July 24 at nairobi cinema, you better be there, i love working with black and white so i sucked all the colour out of the background image as soon as i could. The Blood and crown of thorns gives away the starring of this event, which is the intention, of course. Check out 'THE RUHAMAH BAND' on facebook

X-tremor

You might have heard of Club expressions, well they are a youth group inviting you to this event(check it out on FB). I actually enjoyed doing this, the tremor waves originating from the O strengthen the tremor theme. the equalizer graphs enhance the musical and entertainment theme that will be heavy on this show

The Dark Side

This is jut me being adventorous, i discovered i hd never done anything in purple so i just converted the sky purple. The first design is the dark side of greatness, sermon series at nairobi chapel in august, to the right are four faces showing the four pesonality types to be discussed in this series, it also serves as a mirror image to show everyone has a bright side and a dark side, the second design is chapeleza, for you to know more, visit Nairobi Chapel on August 1st

The Art Camp

This is meant to communicate just that, an art camp, the use of the palm is simply meant to show that this is an event to get your hands dirty, targeting children and their parents, use of a myriad of colours was inevitable. Looking closely you will notice icons showing six different forms of art to be engaged in, poetry(feather pen), music(guitar), drama(masks), dance(dancer), painting(pallet), fashion(model). The font chosen is also quite informal, to connect to the younger ones. This event is courtesy of 'vivihivi'

Kinara Poster

This a poster that promotes an annual internship program done at the Nairobi Chapel. The image of the girl communicates a sense of motivation, inspiration and destiny, hence relevant to the slogan of the program, the overall look of the artwork is meant to sell more to the youth, especially those just through with campus, if your interested find Kinara on Facebook.

Financial Matters

A series of corporate identity rtwork for Morgen Consulting, an asset management and accounting consulting firm, in a nutshell what these nguy deal with is money and its mathematics. Hence all images used signify cash, graphs, percntages to make sure that their industry is well communicatd. The blend of corporate colours is also excellent, a good red andblue combination that displays a formal setting with a financial element. The logo (provided by client) communicates 'a closer look at your financal matters'

ESRI Training Poster

Anothe one for my corporate clents. You may have come across some ESRI work I have done before, they specalize in GIS systems. This is a poster promoting their training and educational solutions. The top part of the poster is part of their corporate image internationally, a blend of various geographical stuff, maps, satellite images and processed data images. The pictures (clients own) are to give the client a personal feel of ESRI. The blocky  layout is also a part of ESRI's corporate image. I do not need to explain why we used green now, do i?

Decibel Style

These are a series of promotional and marketing concepts for Decibel Sound Company. The concept was to simply capture an image in the clints mind that will relate to the services provided. The copy goes hand in hand with the particular promo on the poster. Using 'style' as a selling point is a move to assure potential clients that services are provided as to the client's style of doing events. Trust me, this guy is partiular in how he does his stuff. Oscar Awards

This is one of those things u just enjoy doing. YES! They are here, the Oscar Awards themselves. This design had to carry the event and celebrity appeal, along with a stage and podium environment. The spotlight focusing on the mike also directs your attention to what will be happening. I must say, this ... i liked.

The Complete GIS

I dont know how many of you are familiar with GIS... but in a laymans understanding, they are guys who did geography in campus. This is a banner concept for ESRI, a GIS firm that deals a product called GIS. A software with various interfaces as shown in the banner. The blue fade is part of their corporate image and the image towards the bottom is the line art of their logo. The design had to reflect a global outreach of service and flexibility of software applications, hence the curve flow.  If you are into their stuff, check them at www.ersiea.co.ke

Communication

The corporate world is an interesting place. The simpler the design, the better for them. This is a company profile concept for a communications company. The african map shows their operations region and the pictures on the left their clientele and equipment. Though simple... trust me, its not easy... but its fun!!!

Let's talk

I did this almost a week ago but had to put it up. This was a graphic promoting a discussion on the proposed constitution. There was a panel of experts on the document hence the idea of the seats. The b/w image also potrayed the mystery of the constitution matters. Of course there had to be the national colours as well. Proudly Kenyan

'I love this place' banners

A series of banners to back up the I love this place sermon series. The idea of keeping it facial is to develop the personal connection between an individual and the church. One should feel "that could be me in that banner".

I love this place

This is a graphic designed for Nairobi Chapel. They will be doing a series this month on getting connected to church. The design needed to reflect a celebratory nature hence the jumping silhouettes. The warmth of the green also gives a comfortable feeling.
